Oh Dear : Gifty Powers said she would give my child to another man after I refused to give her money – Mr 2Kay https://ift.tt/2LOooCG https://ift.tt/31mhz1D

Gifty Powers said she would give my child to another man after I refused to give her money ? Mr 2Kay

Mr 2Kay has alleged that his ex-girlfriend Gifty Powers stays relevant by attacking him following their Instagram exchange days ago in which she backed an Instagram user who said she must have dumped him because he had body odour.

Commenting on the Instagram exchange that made headlines, Mr 2Kay said Gifty Powers has always been the one attacking him even though he’s a free-spirited person. He added that he won’t publicly shame the reality show star because she is the mother of his daughter.

“I am a free-spirited person. Have you ever seen me attack her? She’s the one always attacking me. I was saying that I know Tacha and she doesn’t have body odour. People misinterpreted that to mean I had seen her in the morning before her shower, when she is actually my sister. When Gifty involved herself, I didn’t respond to her. She is the mother of my daughter and I respect my kid, so I won’t react. She doesn’t understand this and she seizes every opportunity to attack me. She’s always using me to stay relevant. Whether I sing or not, I’ll still be relevant but who remembers her name when mentioned? Her existence is tied to me” he said.

The singer also told Sunday Scoop that Gifty’s bitterness centres on him moving on and refusing to hold on to their relationship.

“Some people get angry about what they can’t have. We used to be together and she wanted us to continue but I refused because I didn’t want to be with her kind of person anymore. She was already pregnant at the time and had a child for me but I didn’t want to continue. I thought we should concentrate on our child but she’s angry she can’t have me back,” he said.

On Gifty denying he is the father of her daughter, Mr 2Kay said;

“I know the kid is mine and even if you ask her (Gifty’s) mother, she will say the same thing. When Gifty was pregnant, she denied it. When she had the baby, she denied it also. She’ll soon deny her own self. I was making my own contribution to take care of the baby. At the moment, I can’t take care of her because of my work schedule and she’s just about to turn two. I know my responsibilities as a father and I perform them and the mother has to do her bit as well. Gifty asked for an outrageous sum of money for a kid that hadn’t clocked one year and she told my sister that she was going to give my kid to another person. I didn’t object but I just said that the kid would look for her real father when she’s grown.”

Beef Alert: Liz Anjorin And Toyin Abraham Fight Dirty Over Reports That Liz Was ‘Held’ For Drugs In Saudi Arabia https://ift.tt/2QdwQRi https://ift.tt/31mhz1D

September 14, 2019

There’s a bit of drama in the Yoruba movie industry at the moment and here’s how it started.

An Instagram blog reported that Nollywood actress, Liz Anjorin was ‘held and searched for drug peddling’ during her recent hajj trip to Saudi Arabia. The report went on to say the actress was ‘teary all through her encounter with the security agents at the airport’.

In her response to the story, Liz Anjorin said her investigations revealed that her colleague, Toyin Abhram ‘leaked’ the story to blogs and she came for her guns blazing.

Toyin Abraham has also responded to her with a strongly worded statement saying, ‘I have instructed my lawyers to take up this matter and she will be hearing from them by Monday’.

Read their exchange below….

The Story…

Mama please clear the Air how you were Held for Drug peddling search and was Teary all through, I know you won’t tell your gullible fans about that, but if na another thing una go don shake IG.

This is a Gossip Blog and we write stories be it Bad or Good, so deal with that,Iya Adini tell your Fans o,we are waiting and stop dragging who is not.

Liz Anjorin’s reaction…

Musa hold my cloth …Na jeje I dey hustle do my business.

Sugbon evil is part of life and fighting is part of winning evil. Who remember that actor attached to ?? That was deported from America?? Who remember the cross….That was deported from London?? Haaaaa… mi o mon nkankan ..until gistlover comment section was flooded with so much jubilation from them ke?? Egbami ke ?? .

Toyin Abraham and Liz Anjorin go for each other

Weekend oloyin re oo. Too much question will force me to release evidence fa..na wisdom they help me keep some facts …that was why I dey work so hard like machine because things about life is bigger than life gangan
.
You need to stay more calm for evidence before you get blocked ..if I block you before you see evidence ..e go pain you , because you need to know HUMAN

Toyin Abraham fires back….

It has come as a rude shock that some upstarts masquerading as Nollywood actors keep dragging my name into unnecessary drama whenever they are trolled online. I’ve had my own share of online trolling but not for once did I drag the names of any actor or celebrities into the fray even when we don’t have cordial relationships.

Today, an actress directly mentioned my name as the owner or informant of an Instagram blog, and libeled my person and reputation by implying I planted or published some negative news about her.

Why she mentioned my name, I can’t say. What she’s trying to achieve, I can’t fathom. Long ago, I bade bye bye to unnecessary drama and petty online/offline squabbles and so I won’t descend to her gutter level.

Her so-called “evidence” of my involvement was a comment I left on the page of a fan she suspected is behind the story. How I became connected to the story beats me. This level of cluelessness is mind-boggling.

For the umpteenth time, stop holding me responsible for the actions or inactions of other people as it concerns you. Whether they are my fans or not, I don’t regulate or determine their behaviour or conduct. Nobody holds Beyonce responsible for what her teeming fans, “Beyhives” do.

Anyways, I have instructed my lawyers to take up this matter and she will be hearing from them by Monday. It’s time to put a stop to online bullying and bad behaviour in line with the rule of law.

We Will Never Forgive Those Who Killed Our Brothers – Nnamdi Kanu https://ift.tt/eA8V8J

September 14, 2019

Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Led by Nnamdi Kanu, On Saturday observed a minute silence in honor of their members who died in their quest for a sovereign state.

The leader of the group Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who announced the date through his twitter handle, vowed never to forget nor forgive those that killed his members at his residence in Afara-Ukwu, Abia state.

He said that September 14 is #SaboteurDay, noting that he prayed and observed a minute silence at exact 12: noon for Gallant 28 Biafrans that died two years ago in his house.

His words, “At exactly 12 Noon Biafraland Time I honoured them with a minute silence followed by a prayer at 12:02. The #Gallant28 and all that fell on this day two years ago are immortal, they will never be forgotten.”

Last two years, the Nigerian Army assigned for security exercise called ‘Operation Python Dance’ in the South-East, allegedly invaded Kanu’s residence in Abia state to arrest him.

About 28 members of IPOB lost their lives. Kanu however accused Army of invading and killing his members at his residence.

In a rebuttal, the Nigerian Army distanced self from the allegation, noting that such never happened.

“There was no surrounding of Nnamdi Kanu’s residence. It is not true,” said army spokesman Sani Usman.

Kanu had also accused the South-East governors of colluding with the federal government and having a full complicity in the activities of Army’s Operation Python Dance in the geopolitical zone.

But the governors said ‘we know nothing about Operation Python Dance’, explaining that they never invited the military to the South East for Operation Python Dance. In collection, Kanu and his group observed a minute for those that died two years ago.

Trump Confirms Death Of Al-qaeda Heir Osama Bin Laden’s Son, Hamza Bin Laden

September 14, 2019

US President Donald Trump on Saturday confirmed that Hamza bin Laden, the son and designated heir of Al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, was killed in a counter-terrorism operation along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
US media reported in late July and early August, citing intelligence officials, that the younger Bin Laden had been killed sometime in the last two years in an operation that involved the United States.
Secretary of Defense Mark Esper confirmed the death last month, saying it was “his understanding” that Bin Laden was dead, but Trump and other senior officials had not publicly confirmed the news.
“Hamza bin Laden, the high-ranking al-Qaeda member and son of Osama bin Laden, was killed in a United States counterterrorism operation in the Afghanistan/Pakistan region,” Trump said in a brief statement issued by the White House.
“The loss of Hamza bin Laden not only deprives Al-Qaeda of important leadership skills and the symbolic connection to his father, but undermines important operational activities of the group.”
The statement did not specify the timing of the operation.
The 15th of Osama bin Laden’s 20 children and a son of his third wife, Hamza, thought to be about 30 years old, was “emerging as a leader in the Al-Qaeda franchise,” the State Department said in announcing a $1 million bounty on his head in February 2019 — perhaps after his actual demise.
Read Also Trump sacks national security adviser John Bolton
Sometimes dubbed the “crown prince of jihad,” he had put out audio and video messages calling for attacks on the United States and other countries, especially to avenge his father’s killing by US forces in Pakistan in May 2011, the department said.
That work made him important in attracting a new generation of followers to the extremist group that carried out the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, which left nearly 3,000 dead.
– Heir apparent –
Osama bin Laden’s death and the rise of the more virulent Islamic State group saw Al-Qaeda lose currency with younger jihadists.
But the proliferation of branches and associated jihadist groups in Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and elsewhere have underscored its continuing potency.
Documents seized in the raid on his father’s house in Abbottabad, Pakistan suggested Hamza was being groomed as heir to the Al-Qaeda leadership.
US forces also found a video of Hamza’s wedding to the daughter of another senior Al-Qaeda official that is believed to have taken place in Iran.
In 2017, Hamza was placed on the US terror blacklist, seen as a potent future figurehead for the group then led by Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Faces behind deal that landed Nigeria in $9.6bn mess

August 29, 2019

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the National Intelligence Agency and the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to launch a probe into the contract between the Federal Government and the Process and Industrial Developments Limited, signed in 2010.
The controversial contract has become the subject of a $9.6bn judgment debt imposed on Nigeria by a British court last week.
The president also directed that the contract itself should be probed with a view to identifying Nigerians involved in the signing of the deal in 2010 for possible prosecution.
The President’s decision to probe the firm and its activities was based on the fact that the Federal Government suspected foul play in the contract which was negotiated and signed under the past administration in 2010. But who are the past and present Federal Government’s officials that represented Nigeria to sign the purported contract 2010 between the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and the P&ID?
Umar Yar’Adua
The late President Umar Yar’Adua was technically at the helm of affairs when the project must have been tabled before the Federal Government. However, he was on a sick bed in faraway Saudi Arabia on January 11, 2010 when the contract was signed.
Unfortunately, the soft-spoken President is no longer alive to say what he must have known about the contract that has the capacity to lead the country to steady haemorrhage.
Goodluck Jonathan
President Goodluck Jonathan was Vice President at the time the contract was signed.
Although he was the most senior government official in the absence of his boss, he was treated as a ‘leper’ and an outsider by the ‘cabal’ that took charge of government business in the absence of Yar’Adua.
However, on the doctrine of necessity subscribed to by the National Assembly, Jonathan became the acting President on February 10, 2010 and went on to be sworn in as President on May 6, 2010 upon the demise of Yar’Adua.
Our correspondent learnt that questions were asked on the contract when Jonathan became president but they were not answered. Thus, the fire kept smouldering.
Before Jonathan quit office on May 29, 2015, P&ID and the Federal Government had agreed at a settlement fee of $850m but he decided to hand over the liability to the incoming government of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Attorney General, Michael Aondoakaa
Michael Aondoakaa was appointed the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation on July 26, 2007. He was reputed to be one of the members of the ‘cabal’ that ruled Nigeria in the absence of Yar’Adua.
It was not yet clear what role he played in the P&ID contract saga. However, as the chief law officer of the country, he was expected to review major contracts before the country could sign such document.
He lost his seat in the cabinet on February 10, 2010 – the day that Jonathan assumed power as the acting President.
Rilwan Lukman
Rilwan Lukman, an engineer, was a recurring decimal in the nation’s oil and gas industry. He was appointed Honorary Advisor to Umar Yar’Adua on energy and strategic matters in August 2007 and in December 2008, he was appointed the Minister of Petroleum Resources.
So, he was the Minister of Petroleum Resources at the time the ministry signed the contract with P&ID. However, he left the cabinet on March 17, 2010 when Jonathan dissolved the Federal Executive Council. He died on July 21, 2014.
Liyel Imoke and Cross River State
Liyel Imoke was the governor of Cross River State between May 2007 and May 2015. Although the GSPA contract was a federal project, his administration might have played some outsider role in the project. As of the press time, it was not certain what role the state government under him played.
Mansur Mukhtar
Dr Mansur Mukhtar, economist and experienced technocrat in both the public private sector, was Minister of Finance at the time the deal with the Process and Industrial Development Limited was signed.
The former Director General of Debt Management Office was appointed the Finance minister by the late President Umar Yar’Adua on December 17, 2008.
As the Chief Finance Officer of the country, a major financial transaction should not scale through without passing through his table.
The Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated through which the government must have acquired 10 per cent equity in P&ID is also under the purview of the Ministry of Finance.
Mukhtar left the government in March 2010 when Jonathan dissolved the cabinet.
Lamido Sanusi
Lamido Sanusi was the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria at the time the Federal Government entered into the contract with P&ID on January 11, 2010.
It could not be determined what role he must have played when the contract was signed. However, it is usual for the chief banker of the nation to be aware of contracts that will commit the nation to foreign exchange transactions.
Sanusi, who became Muhammadu Sanusi II, the 14th Emir of Kano, was appointed governor of CBN on June 3, 2009. He was suspended from the apex bank by President Jonathan on February 20, 2014 in controversial circumstances.
Buhari and AGF Abubakar Malami’s role
President Buhari inherited the controversial contract when he assumed office on May 29, 2015. The controversy that surrounds it could have been settled by him with good negotiation.
However, he must have been too busy with preliminaries of taking over power to be bothered about settling a project that was not executed with $850m.
The President also failed to appoint a minister to take charge of legal affairs until November 2015.
[YOU MAY ALSO LIKE] Rape: Police grill Fatoyinbo for third day
An official of the Ministry of Justice had told a London court that the handover to a new government was responsible for the delay in implementing decisions reached with the P&ID.
Malami is the current Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation. He has been in charge of the contract suit since he assumed office.
Although he assumed office when the arbitration had awarded the $9.6bn judgment to the P&ID, the company accuses him of ignoring an offer of $850m to settle the case out of arbitration.
Malami has promised that everyone that led the country to the alley would be punished.

Buhari has judiciary, National Assembly in his armpit, pocket – Buba Galadima

August 29, 2019

Buba Galadima, ex-spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Council, has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari has the judiciary and National Assembly, “completely under his armpit and pocket.”
Galadima said this while accusing the Buhari-led administration of intimidating and muzzling the judiciary. Featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Galadima was reacting to claims that some “friends of this government” are trying to manipulate cases in court.
He also berated Buhari for failing to sign the Electoral Amendment Bill despite being passed by the National Assembly weeks to the general election.
Galadima stated that the refusal to append his signature was a deliberate ploy by the presidency to rig the poll, a situation that led to a face-off between the executive and legislature.
According to Galadima: “This government is intimidating the judiciary. You have heard in the social and print media of certain friends of this government visiting judges, trying to mould their opinion on the cases before them.
“We have the head of a government who believes that he will first accuse you and it will be your duty to prove yourself innocent.
“There is no place, no country in the world where you are accused and you prove yourself innocent. The President has consistently stood on this promise and now that he has the complete judiciary under his armpit and the National Assembly inside the pocket, we Nigerians are in trouble.”

Nigeria Has 3 Types Of Herdsmen, Says Governor Ganduje

August 29, 2019

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Gamduje, has faulted the notion held in certain quarters that his colleagues of Progressives Governors Forum were plotting to oust the National chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole from seat.
Ganduje, who bared his mind on issues of national importance in an interactive session with reporters in Abuja yesterday, declared that he would never be a party to such plot.
According to him: “I am not aware of governors working against the national leadership of the APC. I have not heard of any such thing. So, I have not heard of any gang up against the national leadership and if it exists, I’m not aware of it and I’m not a party to it.”
On the issue of whether to rely on zoning or merit to determine the choice of President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023, Ganduje argued: “The way I look at it is that it is an issue between idealism and realism. Idealism is a situation whereby things should be done in accordance with the ideals. If things are done like that, then everybody should have equal treatment and everybody has equal chance to contest and then, what the people decide should be done. Now, the issue of realism.
“Nigeria is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious country with several geopolitical zones. In reality, people are yearning for participation of different political zones and not the politics of north and south. So, the reality of the situation is that people are crying of marginalisation in the leadership of the country.
“But the idealism is that people should participate and be elected based on their capacity. So, it is not the governor of Kano State that should decide whether it is idealism or realism. It is the party that will determine which should be applied in Nigeria and you know that it is a political strategy. So, the political party will decide which option to follow.”
Faulting the call on herders to leave the southern part of the country, he urged Nigerians to imbibe the culture of cohabiting with one another peaceably.
He said: “I don’t subscribe to calls for Fulani herdsmen in the south to come back to the north because Ruga should not be a national issue. It should be a state issue. If there are Fulani in a southern state and they want to remain there, the constitution has allowed them to remain there. But they should negotiate with the inhabitants of that state under what terms they should carry out their herdsmanship without harming anybody.
“If you are existing in an environment, then you should not harm the environment and the environment must not harm you. That can only exist when you negotiate. You cannot build a night club near a church or near a mosque. You have to negotiate with the owners of the church or the mosque. So, if you want to practice herdsmanship which is all right and beneficial, you must have a symbiotic relationship between the herdsmen and the farmers.
“Because of climate change and increase in population and the land is not increasing, grazing areas is scarce. You don’t have to be a herdsman now to rear cattle because anybody is free to rear cattle. That is my understanding of the situation. You can remain where you are and run your business, but you must negotiate.
“There are three type of herdsmen in Nigeria. The first are those who are coming with thousands of cattle from West African countries and you don’t expect them to carry food for the cattle. Along the way, they have to cut trees and provide food for the cattle and that create some problem. They are attacked by farmers, and along the line, they have learnt to attack farmers as well. They go about with their families on horses and donkeys and also carry arms and have graduated into being bandits.
“That is one category of herdsmen who are coming from West Africa. That is an ECOWAS problem which Nigeria should negotiate. The second is the herdsmen who are from the northern part of Nigeria. They trek through the North Central zone to the south. They normally don’t have a lot of cattle like the ones coming from West Africa. Those ones too create problems because of trekking from one place to the other. The third one are those herdsmen who are born in places different from places of their socio-cultural and socio-religious origin.
“I’m sure that in the south you can get some Fulani herdsmen who are born there and are not trekking to come to the north, but are permanently there. They also have problems, because when their young ones cannot go to school, they can also cause problems. This is my own classification and I’m doing it because I’m a Fulani man. So, I know what it feels to be a herdsman and business should not continue as usual. Herders activities should be a socio-economic venture and not a socio-cultural venture as it is right now.”
Ganduje described the recent call for revolution by a section of Nigerian youth as illegal and unconstitutional, noting, “This is unconstitutional and it is the creation of the opposition to some extent and those tribalists, especially when you consider what happened to the former Deputy Senate President in Germany. So, it is in the imagination of all those who want to destabilise Nigeria. It is also the handiwork of those religious extremists like Sheik El-Zakzaky people.
“If you know what happened in Iraq, you will discover that it is all about revolution. But in Nigeria, we have elected a government; we have a constitution; we have a legislature and if you want to change the government, you go through the constitution. That is the most agreed change of government in all countries of the world. So, the call for revolution should not be taken lightly. Those involved should be taken to court and treated according to the rule of law.”

August 29, 2019

Hot Felon Jeremy Meeks, 35, has claimed he is still together with and Topshop heiress Chloe Green, 28, despite reports that they have broken up.
Earlier in August, a source told Us Weekly that the model and heiress "split about two months ago, but are off and on still speaking." The source also said that Green is selling their London home.
News of their break up came after Green was pictured kissing a mystery man on a yacht in the Mediterranean on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
During a lunch date with a buddy in West Hollywood on Wednesday, August 28, Jeremy was approached about the status of his relationship.

After being asked by a videographer for his reaction to the photos of Chloe, 28, embracing Rommy Gianni, 42, while laying on the deck of her father's yacht, Jeremy said: 'Oh man, that ain't nothing, man,'

When they suggested the two didn't have feeling for each other anymore, the model denied it. 'No, we're still together,' he said before driving off.
Meek and Green, who both now share a son, Jayden, were first linked in June 2017 when he was still married to now ex-wife, Melissa Meeks. The exes, who share two kids, finalized their divorce in 2018.

Why Japan Cannot Stop IPOB From Protesting against Buhari – Ubani

August 29, 2019

Monday Ubani, former Second Vice- President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on Wednesday said Japan cannot stop members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) from demonstrating against President Muhammadu Buhari because the constitution of Japan protects freedom of speech and expression.
He said protests against leaders who are attending foreign meetings and summits is a normal practice all over the world.
He however said the host country may not allow the protesters to have direct access to the President so as not to attack him which may lead to retaliation by the security forces on the protesters.
While urging President Buhari to address the grievances of the IPOB members, Ubani said while the President may not do that in Japan where he is currently participating in the 7th Tokyo International Conference, he can do that immediately he returns to Nigeria so that IPOB members who felt they have been treated badly can have a sense of belonging in the country.
“When people have agitations, it could be a group or certain persons against their leaders, they usually manifest such grievances by protests and sometimes they can even follow their leaders to wherever they go in the world to express their grievance. We saw it whenever all these international leaders gather for any event, those who are protesting on climate change always come to the venue to protest and express their grievances”.
“For example, US President Donald Trump has always had strong views against climate change and sometimes there are people who gather to protest against his views on climate change”.
“So, it is a normal practice all over the world”.
“I think IPOB members are saying there are certain things that the President has done back home against IPOB members and they are there in Japan to express those grievances. I have never seen leaders trying to engage those protesters on the international fora to discuss issues”.
“There is nothing wrong in President Buhari coming home to look at those complaints and address them. People protest because they want their grievances to be addressed. If what IPOB members are protesting for is worth considering, I will ask the president to look into those issues and address them. But stopping them from protesting is out of it”.
“Even Japan will not stop people from protesting against their leaders. They can’t do that because freedom of expression allows that especially in a country like Japan. But the IPOB members must not abuse, beat up leaders as they did to Ike Ekweremadu. We condemn that”.
“People can express their grievances against leadership, people can protest against misgovernance but physically manhandling leaders is not something we should encourage because it may lead to consequences that may be fatal.
“If the security operatives of the leaders begin to shoot, those protesters may be killed. If the protesters are also given unrestricted access, they can mob the leaders to death. So, we should always try to strike a balance in all these things” he said.

I Go Dye asks President Buhari to free Sowere, reminds him of when he overthrew the government of Shagari in 1983

August 29, 2019

Comedian, I Go Dye, has written an open letter to President Buhari, asking for the release of the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore.
In the letter, I Go Dye reminded President Buhari of when he overthrew the government of Shehu Shagari in 1983.
Recall that Sowore was arrested in the early hous of August 3rd following his plans to lead a Revolution protest against the Buhari-led administration scheduled on August 5th.
Read I Go Dye's open letter below
YOUR EXCELLENCY @muhammadubuhari
ON BEHALF OF THE VOICELESS PLEASE FREE SOWORE AND MAKE NIGERIA BETTER THAN YOU MET IT.
Nigerian's predicament has been long frustrated on us, even then as a young youth like sowore, President Mohammadu Buhari you were 41 years in 1983
When you overthrown Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari the first democratically elected President of Nigeria on December 31, 1983 our nascent democracy was truncated, but you had your reservations based on the 1983 coup, which aggregated some of the decisions and policies you instituted after taking over as Head of State. Your excellency, then as head of State, you felt unhappy with the political structure as you highlighted in your speech back then in 1983.
Let me remind you that under Shagari government in 1982 fuel price was just 15.3 Kobo before he was later increased to 20 Kobo on April 20th, 1982 today fuel price is now 147 Naira
Indeed, the story has even gone worst now, without hope insight, please sir, consider the pains that sowore might be trying to express.
We all cry everyday for freedom from poverty, insecurity, unemployment, poor health conditions, ethnic and religious intolerance, freedom from police harassment of our youths on a daily basis just to mention a few.
We cannot totally agree that all is well, when more than 10% percent of our population have left the country in search of greener pastures, while some of our youths are being killed everyday outside our border, What then is the hope of those left in the country? Our legislators have not added their voice of reason towards finding a way to bring about efficient and productive governance.
I want to remind you that Nigeria belongs to all of us, the objectivity of sowore actions need to be considered.
Please kindly treat Sowore like one of your sons, whose ultimate goals is to have a better society, I am human and I feel the pains of millions of Nigerians who sleep every day without a meal, blinded by an hopeless situation. Please sir. on behalf of the voiceless listen to the voice of reason #freesowore and make Nigeria better than you met it.
Thanks Amb Francis Agoda .

Tyler Perry shares inspirational post as his studio gets a highway sign

August 29, 2019

Tyler Perry got quite emotional after driving through the highway and seeing a highway sign leading to the his studio.
The American filmmaker recounted coming to Atlanta with nothing, ending up homeless and also starving. Tyler however stated that he kept praying and believing that if he worked hard and did his best, everything would work out.
He wrote;
Driving into work today I saw these signs on the highways being changed. My eyes filled with water knowing what God has allowed to happen in my life.
Atlanta has truly been the promised land for me. I came here with nothing, lived off Sylvan Road, ended up homeless and starving, but I was always praying and believing. I was always keeping the faith, knowing that if I worked hard, did my absolute best, kept my integrity, honored every blessing, and remained grateful through it all that everything would work out. And it has, thank God.
But to all of you looking at my life now, I want to share a scripture/prayer that helped me keep going from St. Mark 9:23-25. It's a simple prayer by a man who had faith, a man who believed, but still had doubts. He said, "LORD I believe but help my unbelief." Even in my darkest times when I wanted to give up, I kept believing, and I asked God to help me to believe past any naysayer, any doubt, and any problem.
Just know that it is possible to believe in your dream and still wonder how or when it’s going to happen. Stay the course. Pray, work, believe and repeat. You’ll get there. Just believe for as much as you can, and ask God to help you believe for the rest!

The sign originally read Fort McPherson, which is the historic army base that was mostly sold to Perry in 2016. He purchased 330 acres of the historic land on the decommissioned Fort McPherson Army Base. Tyler Perry Studios is located between downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Igbo Presidency will End Biafra Agitation – Mazi okechukwu

August 29, 2019

Disclosing this via an email he sent to Vanguard, President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi okechukwu isiguzoro said that Igbo Presidency in 2023 would make NdIgbo happier and activities of IPOB would fizzle out like a vapour.
He said that South-east has been marginalized for long and as such needs to be compensated. His words, “IPOB activities will bring the realization of Nigeria President of Igbo stock.
Nigerians might opt for full compensation for the marginalized South East by voting en mass for an Igbo to emerge as President in 2023 as they compensated the Yorubas in 1999.
“When OPC, NADECO and Abiola issue came up, Nigerians compensated Yorubas by voting Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as President “We understood that the activities of Niger Delta militants led to Dr Good luck Jonathan becoming Vice President and later President.
I was used to quell the situation. We equally know how Biko Haram insecurity led to the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari. So what’s good for the Goose is also good for the Gander.
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide assures Nigerians especially Arewa Consultative Forum, Northern Elders Forum, and Coalition of Northern groups, that we are determined to seal our aged longed relationship as old allies since 1960 as we commence our consultation meetings soon.
“That Igbo Presidency 2023 with a Northerner as Vice President will end the activities of IPOB. Igbo will present one of the current South East Governors as a worthy successor of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
